Cannas

These tropical-looking plants appear to have escaped the rain forest, but actually enjoy full sun. From the Greek "kanna" meaning 'reedlike plant', their lush, sculpted leaves adorn stems growing 2 to 8 feet tall with a crown of colorful torchlike blooms. We enjoy a bed of these bold beauties each year as a focal point, and they are also ideal for temporary screens, background plants or as sturdy supports for annuals and climbers that might need staking. Striking in containers, too. Rhizomes should be lifted in fall.

Due to excessive shipping costs, we no longer ship to AK, HI or outside the continental U.S.
